This disc explores the musical world that Bach encountered before his youth, when he was absorbing organ music from north-central Germany. The album features a number of important German composers from the end of the 17th century, including Georg Böhm, who taught Bach, a young boy at a boarding school in Lüneburg, organ structure and musical language, and the young genius Bruns, who, like Bach, played violin and organ equally well. The majority of Bach's works are for the organ, except for the works that were intended to sound like a lute, but considering that organists of the time also studied on clavichord and harpsichord when they were not in church, we can say that being able to experience these works through the harpsichord, which has foot keys just like the organ The fact that these works can be experienced on the harpsichord, which has a foot keyboard like the organ, is an acoustic experience that brings us closer to the scene of Bach's and the great masters before him. French virtuoso Joan Moulin, who has a wealth of experience in interpreting German music of this period, will use a reproduction instrument modeled after instruments of Bach's generation to carefully bring out the subtleties latent in each piece of music through the effective baroque tuning that contrasts the purity of the main key harmony and dissonance.
