He has been instrumental in introducing new works to the American public. The works on this album all have a sound rooted in classical writing, but with influences from rock and pop music, and their unique music resonates with listeners. Fumine Ozasa, who plays viola in "Unspoken," is a remarkable player who switched from violin to viola while attending the Cleveland Institute of Music, graduated from the Curtis Institute of Music, and completed her master's degree at the Kronberg Academy in Germany.
