Miriam Lignol is a sought-after ensemble player and soloist who has garnered attention for her releases such as "Bach: Suite for Solo Cello Viol". The trio has released an album themed on "Italian-style sonatas from 18th century France," featuring three of Corelli's Op. 5 violin sonatas that opened the eyes of 18th century French people to Italian music, as well as three arranged versions from the time, and a thrilling performance of the Nevermind debut disc. The collection also includes three sonatas by Cantin, a French composer of Tartini's generation, who gave a thrilling performance. Anna Besson, who plays all the sonatas in the flauto traverso style of the time, gives a tasteful performance, taking into account where to go and where to go back, while Rignol and Rondeau, who play the sonatas with skillful accompaniment, are also heard throughout.The arrangement of Corelli's work is a masterpiece in its ability to make the fugue movements sound natural, and it is a pleasure to hear the beauty of the individual instruments at their best, thanks to the careful work of ALPHA's master engineer Aline Brondio.
