Description:

The art of clavecin, a rich and fertile art with original 18th century instruments] While studying as a clavecin [harpsichord] player, Jos van Immaasel has been playing 18th and 19th century model fortepianos since early on, and has been approaching the truth of the sound that Mozart and Beethoven were familiar with from the age of LP records. The Belgian virtuoso Jos van Immaasel, who has been pursuing the truth of the sound that Mozart and Beethoven were accustomed to since the age of LP recordings. He has recorded keyboard works by Debussy and Rachmaninoff on the pianos of the time while conducting an ancient instrument orchestra. The instruments used are some of the finest antique instruments of our time. The instruments used in this recording are three original instruments carefully restored by three of the finest contemporary antique keyboard makers in Paris in the 18th century. The seven masters of various generations have carefully selected masterpieces from the important clavesan collections published from the end of the reign of Louis XIV to 1768, the eve of the Classical period, to bring us closer to their masterpieces through the sounds of 18th century Paris as it was in the 18th century. The performances are very different from each other, and the audience is able to experience the difference in their worlds through the deep analysis of the works. The joy of tasting the different worlds of each of these musicians in these atmospheric performances is exceptional. The domestic edition comes with a translation of the original commentary detailing each instrument, as well as an introduction to each composer. Please enjoy the world of the late art of Cravissin as only a player who knows the subtleties of the fortepiano, which became more popular than the Cravissin as time went by, can. Naxos Japan
