A project that took five years to complete, each piece commissioned for the album has its own unique sound world and offers exciting duo and solo works. Louise Stevens' "distraction" on tracks 7-9 refers to her role of deliberately distracting the players by tickling their noses as they concentrate on playing, testing their patience and creating interesting effects in the pieces.
