The second analog version of the hit album "Mozart and Mambo" is now available! The popular Berlin Philharmonic horn player Sarah Willis recorded the album "Mozart and Mambo" (ALPHA578/NYCX-10151) with Cuban musicians in 2020 and it became a worldwide hit. A local friend said, "Mozart would have been a wonderful Cuban," and this led to a curious plan to combine Mozart with Cuban music, which she herself loves, and this created a very interesting synergy. After surviving the Corona disaster, a second analog version was released in 2022, which was also a big hit. Along with Mozart's two horn concertos, the main focus of this release are six "Cuban Dances for Horn, Strings, and Percussion," commissioned by young Cuban composers.
