Description:

Alain Altinoglu (Altinoglu), who is internationally acclaimed not only for his concerts but also for his operas, has chosen for his first recording with the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, of which he has been the chef since the 2020/21 season (actually since the 2021/22 season due to the pandemic), a Frank's bicentennial birthday in 2022. The program combines a well-known symphony and two less frequently performed works. Especially, "Atonement" was composed in 1872 as an interlude for the oratorio "Atonement" but was replaced by another piece in the following year and put in storage. The world premiere recording (FUG 791) was made in 2021. The latest published score was used for this recording, along with "The Damned Hunter". Altinoglu sings with deep empathy Franck's works, which had a great influence on the modern music history of his native France. Naxos Japan
