The Unexpected Compatibility between the Echoes of Versailles and Handel's Works! Masterpieces by the brilliant composers at the forefront of French musicAfter returning to Germany from Italy, the young Handel worked at the court of Hanover and then moved to England, where he steadily won the hearts of the people of London during the 1710s. In the process, he was given the opportunity to compose for a while from 1717 by a wealthy nobleman, Prince Chandos, who was setting up his own composition studio in the suburbs of London at the time. At Cannons, the Lord's mansion in the suburbs of London, which was being built at the time, a great hall and chapel suitable for musical performances were gradually constructed, and Handel composed a succession of music for the public to hear and enjoy in these settings. Among these works, about ten medium-sized vocal pieces, collectively called "Chandos Anthems," were published in the 19th century after the composer's death, and their musical content, in which English verses are vividly sung in Italian vocal style, became known worldwide. The string orchestra without the viola and the chorus without the alto lead to a unique and interesting plain structure, and the unique flavor of these anthems, which straddle the line between chamber music and large-scale choral music, is carefully interpreted by the front-line French anthem ensemble gathered at the Palace of Versailles.Although Handel's music was originally based on the Italian style, French influences can also be seen in the form of overtures and dances, as well as in the instrumentation that makes the most of the oboe group. The Baroque oboe is a very lively and lively piece of music. The baroque oboe solos and bass solo with theorbo are very lively, and the three-part chorus of five to six singers in each part sings with a sense of unity that is also very impressive. In the voluntary and chaconne, conductor Jari plays the organ solo, and you can also enjoy the beautiful sound of the famous instrument from the Royal Chapel of Versailles, restored to its original 18th-century form.
