Following the first collection (900931), this 4-CD set features four carefully selected works from the vast collection of rehearsal recordings between Mariss Jansons and the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks. This release includes rehearsal recordings of Jansons' beloved Richard Strauss' "Life of a Hero" (2011) and "Don Juan" (2014), Beethoven's "Symphony No. 5," which was well received during his 2012 tour of Japan, and Sibelius' "Symphony No. 2" in 2015, You can also sense the maturing relationship between Jansons and the orchestra.
