Description:
La Sousse," a ballet revived at the Paris Opera choreographed by the genius Barre - long-awaited video clip is now available! The story takes place in the Caucasus region at the height of spring. Nouredda, a young girl, is on her way with her brother Mozdok's caravan to the palace of La Khan to marry him. On the way, Nouredda finds a beautiful flower blooming high on a rocky hill and asks the men in the caravan to pick it, but they are unable to do so. A young hunter named Jemil, who is watching from the shadows, picks the flower and gives it to Nouredda, who takes off the veil that covers her face and looks at him. Nouredda's brother Mosdok is furious and strikes Jemil down, leaving him unconscious and the caravan to leave. The fountain beside Gemil's body is inhabited by Nyra, the spirit of the fountain, who secretly loves Gemil. When Naira appears to Jémil, who has regained consciousness, and asks him what he wants, he replies, "To be reunited with my beautiful daughter Nouredda and to take revenge on those who have harmed him..." La Souls (The Fountain) is an 1866 ballet co-composed by Léon Minx and Léo Dreib. The ballet La Souls (The Fountain) was first performed in 1866 at the Paris Opera, then located in rue Le Peltier, with music co-composed by Léon Mincks and Léo Dreib, but a fire at the theater in 1873 destroyed the script, stage plan, and other performance materials, and it was out of the Paris Opera repertoire for nearly 140 years. For the revival of this work at the Paris Opera, director Clément Hervieu-Léger and choreographer Jean-Guillaume Barr have restored the script, and Barr has created a new choreography. Ludmila Pariello dances to the graceful and lively music composed by Minx and Drieve, led by ballet music specialist Cohen Kessels, Enjoy the sublime performances of classical ballet by Isabelle Ciaravola, Karl Paquette, Mathias Eimann, and the other Paris Opera Ballet Etoiles.
