All 24 Songs from *The Horn* Performed by Renowned Baritone Henschel In 2012, Henschel recorded the complete *The Horn* with Berezovsky on piano (EvilPenguin label). This album features all 24 songs—including “Life in Heaven,” which was not recorded at that time—performed with orchestral accompaniment: all 12 songs from *The Child’s Mysterious Horn*, all 4 songs from *Songs of Youth*, Volume 2, all 5 songs from Volume 3, and 3 songs from the symphony. The orchestrations for *Songs of Youth* and “The Three Angels” were composed by the German opera composer Granat. The *Wunderhorn* songs sung by Henschel were featured in their entirety in the film *WUNDERHORN*, which depicts a tragic love story set during World War I. Since 2014, she has been performing film concerts in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, singing all 24 songs with orchestral accompaniment to coincide with screenings of this film. This album is the culmination of those efforts.
