She also founded and runs the Shanghai-based Face Art Institute for international exchange of music and musicians, serves on the board of the New York-based contemporary music organization Ear to Mind, and is busy teaching both in Shanghai and at the University of California, Berkeley. This album is a tribute to Seymour Lipkin (1927-2015), a British pianist whom she affectionately calls "the Grampa of music, She is particularly attached to the Kreisleriana, which she says "never gets old and lives on in me.In this album titled "SONGS OF LOVE," he adds Bach and Ives works to the Kreisleriana, and writes in sound his feelings for his former teacher, Lipkin.
