Description:

Italian music of the early Baroque period is decidedly vivid, with ancient instruments and traditional instruments! Valencia is a Mediterranean coastal region in eastern Spain, where the same regional language (Catalan=Valencian=Valearic) as that of neighboring Catalonia to the north is incorporated into the official language. The Capella de Ministrellas, led by Carles Magranel, is based in Valencia, the home of the Borgia family, which once produced a Pope, and according to one theory, the birthplace of the viola da gamba. The ensemble is based in Valencia, the birthplace of the viola da gamba. Here we will shed light on the music that flourished in the region during the 16th and 17th centuries, when the southern part of the Italian peninsula was under Spanish rule, and reveal how the music of southern Italy from the Renaissance to the early Baroque period was full of unique charm. The unique sound of this music, in which traditional music and music for the intellectuals are harmoniously harmonized with each other, is vividly conveyed in its original flavor because the performers are gifted musicians from Spain and Italy who are familiar not only with ancient instruments but also with traditional instruments and singing techniques. The musicians are not only skilled on ancient instruments, but also on traditional instruments and traditional chanting techniques. The album also features Pino De Vittorio, a string player and singer who had a beautiful voice in Alpha's early masterpieces, and the label's unique engineering of a clear sound image. The engineering of the label's clear sound image helps to create a disc in which one can truly feel the musical Mediterranean Sea. Naxos Japan
