Nothing could be more fitting for women composers who have struggled with social conventions for centuries. They are still fighting valiantly in the whirlwind today. This album contains works by women from various periods, from the Middle Ages to the present day. Enjoy the creative energy of these songs. The "Singer Poor" is a vocal ensemble founded in 1991 by former members of the Regensburg Cathedral Choir. Originally a five-member group, a soprano was added in 1994, and the group now has six members.
