Description:
Tartini, the anniversary year of Venice's world-famous group of ancient instruments! The Venice Baroque Orchestra, Italy's foremost group of ancient instrumentalists, has been making a splash with their lectures in Japan, and has been performing with star players of the baroque violin world such as G. Carmignola and A. Beyer. The composer chosen is Tartini, a master who is famous only for his "The Devil's Trill," but who is still not properly appreciated in the 21st century. This program will also include newly discovered works by this great composer, who will celebrate the 250th anniversary of his death in 2020. Tartini was born in Piran, now part of Slovenia, which was then part of the Republic of Venice, as was Padua, the ancient capital of northern Italy, where Tartini would later play a long and active role until his later years. It was inevitable that the Venice Baroque Orchestra would be aware of this composer. According to the orchestra's leader, Mr. Marcon, the project has been in the works for three years. The soloist Silanosyan is an Armenian-French old-time instrumentalist much promoted by such greats as Reinhard Goebel, the leader of Musica Antiqua Cologne, and Jos van Immaazel, who has also recorded the Tartini and Leclerc sonatas in duo with Immaazel on Alpha ( Alpha255). The newly discovered works are late works, which we want to talk about because this is the anniversary year of the concerto. The newly discovered works are late works that should be talked about in this commemorative year. Naxos Japan
