Since bidding farewell to opera in 2010, Josée Van Damme has been exploring a variety of musical genres, exploring Carlos Gardel's tango with Jean-Louis Lasinfosse and Jean-Philippe Collard-Neven. released by Cypres, the album " Caminito," the renowned bass-baritone tackled unexpected repertoire and delighted fans with an unexpected collaboration between a jazz bassist and a diverse pianist. The three, who have developed a friendship and musical empathy through their concert performances together, as a trio, have a unique brilliance that is composed of spontaneity and complicity. The desire to continue the adventure with these members was only natural, and this time the repertoire was decided on the more familiar French chansons. Josée Van Damme began her efforts with a song she had known for a long time, but found that if the lyrics were effectively put into her voice, the simple melody and chanson could convey many words with only a few notes. From the endless number of chansons, he chose songs with lyrics that moved him personally, resulting in an album about the many forms of love.A simple love for Jacques Brel, the star of a wonderful hometown, a love for his father, a love for his friends, a love for the Montmartre world of bohemian youth, jazz, and parties....
