Emelianichev and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra - Part 1! Emelianichev was born in Russia in 1988. As a fortepiano player, he won the French Shock Prize for "Mozart: Piano Sonatas" (APARTE) and participated in "Mozart: The Marriage of Figaro" and "Cosi fan tutte" (SONY) conducted by Theodor Kurrenzis, who won many awards. He also made his debut as a conductor at the age of 12. He also made his debut as a conductor at the age of 12. He has performed with DiDonato in "In War and Peace" (ERATO), which won the Gramophone Award in the recital category. He has made guest appearances with the period ensemble Il Pomo d'Oro, of which he is music director, as well as with numerous orchestras, and has been appointed principal conductor of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra for the 2019-20 season. The first recording with Emelianichev and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra is now available on LINN RECORDS. The music is Schubert's "Great," in keeping with Emelianichev's strong preference for German music.Although a modern instrument orchestra, it uses natural trumpets, natural horns, and classical timpani. The playback was checked by all members of the orchestra, which is typical of Emelianichev's style, and the performance is very pleasant with a brisk tempo and clear sound. As Emelianichev himself says, "I want people who listen to this recording to feel that it is modern and current (rather than an imitation of an older era)," and it is a recording that conveys the firm will of the new generation.
