Description:

[Sleep-Inducing Ambient Music: Reimagined Versions of Famous Classical Pieces on the Harp] An ambient music album by DJ, composer, and engineer Daisuke Matsusaka. It features tracks that have been reimagined in various ways, based on the music originally included in the digital album *The Harp in the Sleeping Forest*, released by Naxos Japan in 2014. Most of the tracks feature melodies that everyone will recognize. Based on the concept of “enjoying a life filled with music at any time by finding healing in familiar music,” the album respects the original compositions while incorporating bold arrangements, significantly enhancing the “sleep-inducing” elements—such as a sense of immersion in the sound. Recommended not only before bedtime but also during bath time, snack time, or any other moment when you want to “unwind,” and as background music for spaces where you want to experience effortless sophistication, this album adds a new dimension to the “Japanese ambient music” that is currently gaining global attention. Born in Hiroshima. DJ, composer, and engineer. He began producing music in 1994 and started DJing in 1998. Since his first 12-inch single in 2000, he has released two albums and three 12-inch singles, in addition to contributing tracks to numerous compilations. He also handles band production and arrangements, music production for commercials and corporate promotional videos, and various mastering projects. Currently, he serves as the representative of StudioSproutLab. and as a mastering engineer for a classical music label; in 2014, he was certified by Apple as a Mastered for iTunes-compliant engineer. As an organizer, he hosts the ambient party “Off-Tone,” exploring new possibilities for party culture. Furthermore, in March 2017, he launched “Off-Tone” as a music label. Taking full responsibility for everything from production to the spaces where music is shared, he is driving the creation of a “future with music.” Naxos Japan
