Bach's "Six Trio Sonatas" were originally written for organ, but by dividing each of the three voices, they can be played on a variety of instruments. In this album, the work is performed with a novel combination of harpsichord and guitar. Mormenti, who began playing the guitar at the age of 11, has studied the historical background of the works in depth and has arranged each piece in a way that makes sense to him, giving the listener a natural Bach sound. Accardo, harpsichordist, was born in Cagliari. He first studied piano before switching to harpsichord. He specializes in works from the Baroque period. Please enjoy his fresh approach. Naxos Japan
