Stefan Loges was born in Dresden in 1972. He is a baritone who won the "Wigmore Hall International Song Competition" and whose repertoire ranges from baroque to opera to modern works. He also participated in Gardiner's "Cantata Pilgrimage" project, where his beautiful voice was praised, and in this album, recorded around 2000, he performs German songs by Schumann, Franz, and Brahms. The lyricism in "Love of a Poet," in which her youthful voice sings the heart of a young man, is a joy to listen to. Naxos Japan
