The next generation of Palladian Ensemble! Telemann of the Meridian Ensemble! Ensemble Meridiana is a young ensemble that has won the "York Festival of Ancient Music Young Artists Competition," a gateway to success for young ensembles in the British classical music world, and has been named one of the winners of the Palladian Ensemble. In February 2011, the ensemble won the first prize at the Handel Competition in Germany, and the ancient music technique they learned at the Schola Cantorum Basel, the headquarters of ancient music in Switzerland, foreshadows the arrival of the "next generation of Palladian ensembles". The Ensemble Meridiana will unveil its veil at its debut recording at Telemann! Tokyo M-Plus
