The “Cambridge St. Catherine’s College Choir,” led by Edward Wickham. This album features performances by the “Girls’ Choir,” an all-girls ensemble founded in 2008. Their pure, high-pitched voices are uniquely beautiful, creating a soothing sensation as if one were listening to a choir of angels. The album title, “LevyDew,” refers to a carol sung during a traditional Welsh New Year’s celebration. It is said that children sang this song while drawing clean water from a well, sprinkling it on passersby with evergreen branches, and receiving gifts.
