The debut album of THRILLERTHRILLER, a promising new band from the NWOTHMNWOTHM (New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal) scene, hailing from Kempten, Bavaria, Germany! The band was formed in 2005 as the predecessor band "Nasty Nuns", renamed "The Nasty" in 2019, and started their activities as "THRILLER" in 2020, and completed their debut album "Street Metal" in 2023! The band's sound is a modern take on NWOBHM and German metal, with a very traditional heavy metal style in the vein of JUDAS PRIEST, IRON MAIDEN, SAXON, RIOT, etc. The sound, however, is young and aggressive. However, the sound is young and aggressive. A style that matches the lineage of bands such as Canada's RIOT CITY and SKULLFIST, and Sweden's ENFORCER, for example! And not to be underestimated, they are unmistakably German.If you instantly thought of GRAVESTONE when you heard THRILLER, you must be a genuine German metal maniac. Other Germanic bands such as TYRAN' PACE and ACCEPT also reek of German. Anyway, THRILLER is the new hope of this old yet new style band that has many fans in Japan, and has a great potential to increase its presence among European metal fans. Singer Julian Mason's Rob Halford-inspired vocals are the band's signature, and are sure to get everyone listening to the band fired up! The guitar duo of Christopher Westphal and Rudolph Emich are the core of the band, skillfully using twin leads and backing vocals, and are technically perfect! Rhythmists Victor Emmich (b) and Arnold Wein (dr) keep the band moving with their tight rhythms! This debut album will surely appeal to metal fans all over the world, and will be a big hit in Japan as the follow-up to RIOT CITY!
