A fresh and shy boy band with an average age of 16! "SHY" is a nine-member boy band with an average age of 16, scheduled to debut in January 2026 under Tsubasa Boys Production. It is a new group formed by merging the two groups "POCKETPANiC" and "Minewaki," both of which debuted on September 10, 2025. The name originates from the fact that the members (the boys) are a bit shy and timid, but it also carries the following meanings: [S] Spirit → They have hearts and souls [H] Hope → They have hope, expectations, and wishes [Y] Youth → Such young people Additionally, Tsubasa Boys Production is home to senior groups such as "THESUPERFRUIT," who debuted with "Chiguhagu" (which has surpassed 1.4 billion total views on social media), and "Yoga Yona!!!." Before merging, "POCKETPANiC" and "Minewaki" were nine members selected from "Tsubao YOUTH," a pre-debut unit. For about a year while they were working toward their debut, TV Tokyo’s "Chōonsha" followed and broadcast their activities. At their first solo live concert as SHY, approximately 700 tickets were sold, resulting in a spectacular sell-out. On Sunday, November 29, 2026, they are set to hold their largest-scale solo concert to date at The Garden Hall in Ebisu.
