Six of Radiohead’s most popular catalog titles are being re-released all at once as reissue editions with completely redesigned obi strips! Six titles from Radiohead’s popular catalog—all domestic-press CDs—will be released all at once on Friday, September 4, as reissue editions featuring completely redesigned obi strips. For these reissues, the CDs will debut in new packaging based on the design of the vinyl editions with obi strips—which generated significant buzz when released to commemorate Thom Yorke’s 2024 visit to Japan. Radiohead’s classic albums will be reborn with fresh packaging. The six albums being released as reissues are *Pablo Honey*, *The Bends*, *Kid A*, *Amnesiac*, *Hail to the Thief*, and *A Moon Shaped Pool*. Boldly incorporating strings and backing vocals, Radiohead broke new ground with their ninth album Radiohead’s ninth album, released in 2016. Echoing an era in which classical and contemporary music exerted a major influence, the band deconstructed the rock minimalism they had cultivated from *In Rainbows* through *The King of Limbs*, and boldly reassembled them using techniques from classical, contemporary, and electronic music, resulting in a masterpiece that ventures beyond minimalism. By boldly incorporating strings and backing vocals, the band succeeded in breaking new ground once again with their ninth album. In addition to the much-talked-about tracks “Burn the Witch” and “Daydreaming,” the album features 11 tracks in total, including “True Love Waits,” which has been a live staple since the ’90s and has long been eagerly awaited for a studio release.
