Two indispensable legends of 80's power pop, Buzz Clic, guitarist of the legendary power pop band RUBBER CITY REBELS, and Phil Seymour, drummer and singer of the DWIGHT TWILLEY BAND, have released an album from 1993. This is the first time in 30 years that two indispensable legends of 80's power pop have released a retrospective album from 1993. Buzz Clic is the guitarist of the legendary powerpop band RUBBER CITY REBELS from Akron, Ohio, which also produced DEVO. In 1979, he released a classic 7" single produced by Jack Lee of THE NERVES (now sold for a considerable amount of money). The following year, he released the album Rubber City Rebel on the major label EPIC.Phil Seymour is the drummer and singer of the rock band DWIGHT TWILLEY BAND. After the band broke up, he released two historically classic albums as a solo artist. (I hear he is called the Power Pop Prince by power pop fans.) Phil Seymour also has a lot of enthusiastic fans, and in recent years, he has been releasing re-releases and discovery-type sound sources, but they have all been sold out immediately upon release, and this album is the first time that he has released a solo album with a classic album by Paul Collins, The Beat, The Nerves, Jack Lee, Pezband, 20/20 and Off! This album is highly recommended for fans of classic power pop such as Paul Collins, The Beat, The Nerves, Jack Lee, Pezband, 20/20, OFF, Broadways, and more. Also recommended for fans of the original power pop revival of recent years, such as RADIO DAYS, THE SPEEDWAYS, THE REFLECTORS, THE EXPLODING HEARTS, etc.
