The world's first full band composition with 25-string koto as the main instrument! The work is a series of challenges, and is full of performances and arrangements that push the limits of the koto. 192KHz/32bit high-resolution recording. 4 years in 2023, the band completed a nationwide tour of 47 prefectures. When we presented the songs accompanied by the band at the commemorative LIVE to celebrate this achievement, we received many kind words from people who said, "It would be a waste to do it only once," and "We want you to make a CD, too. So, for the first time in three years, we decided to make a new CD in the series, "Koto," with a 25-string koto as the main instrument, a world first. The previous CD, "Corona Disaster," had the theme of healing and enriching the stay home, but this time, we wanted to deliver power. There has never been a band with koto as the main instrument. This is because in a band formation, the sound does not grow even if it is in the center. We dared to take on this challenge. The lineup includes my long-sought favorite Queen, Lady Gaga, Japanese hit songs, and anime songs, all of which are energetic songs that you can get into the rhythm of. I am also getting a lot of energy from them.Although it may seem an unorthodox choice from the perspective of traditional Japanese music, we hope you will rediscover the charm of the koto and feel freshness from the finish that dares to highlight the koto. Various instruments have participated in this project. The composition is unique in that it includes shakuhachi from the Japanese instruments and guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, and percussion from the Western instruments. In addition to the goodness of the original piece, we wanted the audience to enjoy the fun of this instrumentation, and there were many places where we struggled with the selection of a single note. However, this was also something that I could not understand until I experienced it, so it was a learning experience for me. I hope you can see the modulation by moving the pillars at high speed at the live performance. I am very grateful to President Kinno and the recording members for their efforts in making the album sound so spacious and resonant. I would also like to thank everyone who worked so hard on the production of this album. We hope you will enjoy every detail of the ensemble in loud sound.The challenge continues to liven up the Japanese music world...
