Long-awaited all-alto flute album. You will be enchanted by the deep and gentle tones and love-filled music spun by alto flute specialist, Yukiko Okuno. Flutist Yukiko Okuno won the first prize in the 1st Alto Flute Competition at the 21st Japan Flute Convention in Kawasaki 2023. Since then, she has been working in earnest as a specialist not only on the concert flute but also on the alto flute. The alto flute is a bass instrument with a G pipe, a full 4 degrees lower than the concert flute. It is 1.5 times longer than the concert flute and about twice as heavy. It has a thicker body and requires more breath. It is characterized by a low, soft tone. Not many works written for the alto flute have been published yet. This time, we have arranged and recorded all of the most heart-warming masterpieces for alto flute. Love and healing" are the most important elements in her playing, and she has incorporated them into "Grace". This is a disc where you can enjoy the warm and calm tone and unique music filled with love spun by Okuno, the winner of the first alto flute competition.
