Seiya Matsushita, an up-and-coming jazz musician and one of the few "male guitarists" in the jazz world, has produced his debut album with full anticipation. In addition to playing jazz standards, which is his forte, Matsushita also composes his own music, creating a unique worldview with memorable melodic themes and a high degree of freedom in his improvisations. The original song Oasis has already been released on another album, but this take on the song has been given a new form with new English lyrics by Hitomi Watase. The royal standard is carefully sung straight-ahead from the verse in a one-of-a-kind voice that is both straight and delicate, and one can feel the respect for the history of jazz music to date. In addition, What's going on, which is positioned as a soul standard, is also included.
