Klan Aileen, a two-piece rock band from Tokyo, has changed their name to Zamboa and is releasing their 4th album "Future" on their own label, Jolt! The album is the most mysterious and ferocious album in their discography, with the theme of leaving the "city" behind and making music that is distinctly "rural," and attempting to incorporate the tranquility of nature, the long quietness, and the "feeling" of something "holding its breath" into the music itself. The album was the result of a tremendous production process that involved bringing recording equipment to all rehearsals and "recording everything," including sound checks, over a five-year period from 2019 to 2024, resulting in a soundscape that is so raw that it makes the performer's body in the background of the sound seem illusory. The highly transparent vocals and dark melodies are combined with a highly distinctive beat that is neither rock nor jazz, somewhere between Japanese folk music and backbeat, to create "dance music of the spirit.The "relaxed touch", "boldness", and "unplannedness" captured in this work will bloom under the name of "music of 'unformed'" as a foreign object or mystery thrown into the world of modern rock music, which is becoming increasingly anonymous and sterile with the development of technology. The album was recorded and mixed by Ryo Shibuya, Vo/Gt, and mastered by Yui Kimishima of Tsubame Studio.
