Released in 1994, this is the second album on the Victor/Roux label. This 10th album was produced with a band sound and has a strong live performance feel, in the vein of the previous album "Hello Again," which was arranged and produced by the artist himself. The title of the album is "evergreen," which was chosen from the idea that this album would set the standard. In addition to Tetsu Mukaiyama (dr.), Toben Yukawa (b.), and Yoshihiro Tomonari (key) of the Murata Band, the album features strong new players such as Yoshiyuki Sahashi (g.), Yasuhiro Abe (cho), Yuichi Tokashiki (dr.), and Akira Okazawa (b.). The album is a fusion of his originality and his roots in the U.S., with a solid chorus work, a variety of ideas, and a no-fuss arrangement. Three bonus tracks are included.
