Bernie Marsden is also known as a founding member of Whitesnake. The posthumous album of this rare guitarist is a 2-disc epic that includes re-recordings of classic songs from his Whitesnake days. Bernie Marsden, who passed away in August 2011, was a guitarist with an unparalleled and illustrious career, who will be greatly missed by music fans around the world. After working with Cozy Powell, Jon Lord, Ian Paice, and others, he formed Whitesnake with David Coverdale and others. After leaving Whitesnake, he played in a number of bands, including The Moody Marsden Band with Mickey Moody and The Snakes, He also left many works as a solo guitarist. Bernie's last album is now being released.The album, titled "Working Man," is a two-disc set that includes the original 12-song album and a 10-song bonus disc that includes re-recordings of classic Whitesnake-era songs. Naturally, the album contains a strong blues flavor, and is full of Bernie's signature songs. The aforementioned "Here I Go Again" is re-recorded with a simple arrangement that is the complete opposite of the 1987 version, and the song itself is outstanding. The recording took place in June of his 23rd year, and is truly the last document of a rare guitarist. It is a masterpiece that cannot be listened to without tears.
