U.D.O.

Description:

U.D.O., led by Udo Dirkschneider, releases a new album, the first album with Atomic Fire. The highlight of the new album is the participation of Peter Baltes, former bassist of Accept. The album is the first release from Atomic Fire, and the highlight of the album is the addition of Peter Baltes, former bassist of Accept, who joins the band. Udo Dirkschneider, one of the leading vocalists in the German heavy metal scene, left behind numerous masterpieces as the frontman of Accept from the end of the 70's to the 90's. His 5th album "Balls to the Wall" (1983) reached #74 on the U.S. Billboard chart. The band's fifth album, "Balls to the Wall," charted at No. 74 on the U.S. Billboard chart in 1983. As you all know, their follow-up, "Metal Heart," is revered as a historical masterpiece even here in Japan. Udo has since released numerous albums as the leader of U.D.O. In 2010, he also released a cover album under the name Udo Dirkschneider. His performance in Japan in April of this year is still fresh in our memories. Now, Udo Dirkschneider is releasing his first album in two years under the name U.D.O., "Touchdown".The highlight of this album, the band's first since moving to Atomic Fire Records, is the participation of Peter Baltes. After many years as bassist of Accept, Peter left the band in 2006. After that, he worked as Dirk Schneider and the Old Gang with Udo and former Accept guitarist Stefan Kaufmann, but now he has officially joined U.D.O. The return of Udo and Peter alone should be enough to get heavy metal fans excited, but the album itself goes even further. The album is a massive volume of 13 songs, and is sure to be a KO for all heavy metal fans, not to mention fans of U.D.O. and Accept!
