Enforcer from Sweden is one of the leading bands in the modern orthodox heavy metal scene. The project was originally started by Olof Wikstrand, a rare metal maniac, who was impressed by Venom and Exciter. The song was uploaded to MySpace, a popular social networking site at the time, and received 300,000 views in six months. The band then formed and made their album debut in 2008 with "Into the Night," which was hailed by metal enthusiasts around the world as the savior of orthodox heavy metal. Their second album, "Diamonds" (2010), was released on that year's EAR ACE label.After signing with the very large Nuclear Blast, they released three albums, "Death by Fire" (13 years), "From Beyond" (15 years), and "Zenith" (19 years), and a live album, "Live by Fire II" (21 years). The latest release is "Nostalgia," their first new album in four years. The previous album "Zenith" was an album with a lot of variety for an enforcer, but this time, it is a complete turnaround, a return to the early days. As Olof has stated, "This is a back-to-roots album filled with uncompromising heavy metal anthems," and it is a work of 100% metal purity.
