The Alan Parsons Project

Description:

The Alan Parsons Project has gained great popularity for its progressive and pop style. Here comes a concert work in Tel Aviv led by Alan. The concert is performed with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, and features hit songs and rare songs reproduced on a large scale! The Alan Parsons Project does not need much explanation. It is literally a studio project founded by Alan Parsons, an engineer at the Abbey Road Studios, and session pianist Eric Woolfson, who had a string of hits in the 70s and 80s. With a style that was both progressive and pop, the band gained a wide range of fans, not only music fanatics but also light music fans. One of their selling points at the time was that they never played live, but after the breakup of the duo, they began touring under the leadership of Alan Parsons. This new release is one such live performance. The album, titled "One Note Symphony: Live in Tel Aviv," features a concert held on June 4, 2007, with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. Since orchestral arrangements were one of the features of the Alan Parsons Project, the performance with a real orchestra is where the project really comes into its own. The album includes not only hit songs such as "Don't Answer Me" and "Time," but also many rare songs. Whenever I have the opportunity to perform with an orchestra, I try to play songs that would be difficult to play live without one. Whenever I can play with an orchestra, I try to play songs that are hard to play live without an orchestra, like 'Silence and I' from "Eye in the Sky"," Alan says, which shows how interesting this album is. This is a very large scale live show that is a must-see for fans.Alan Parsons (acoustic guitar, keyboards, ukulele, vocals) P.J. Olson (lead vocals, acoustic guitar, percussion) Todd Cooper (saxophone, guitar, recorder, percussion, vocals) Jeff Coleman (guitar, vocals) Coleman (guitar, vocals)Tom Brooks (keyboards, vocals, orchestral arranger, conducting)Dan Tracy (guitar, vocals)Guy Elles (bass, vocals)Danny Thompson (drums/vocals)Jordan Asher Huffman ( guest vocals)Israel Philharmonic Orchestra
