Majestica, a power metal band led by Sabaton guitarist Tommy Johansson, was formed in 2000 under the name Rain Exceed and has released six albums. Last year, the band changed their name to Majestica and signed a contract with the major German label Nuclear Blast Records. Their debut album "Above the Sky," released under the name Majestica, is a truly "majestic" album influenced by power metal bands such as Halloween and Avantasia, as well as epic soundtracks, and has been a big hit among metal fans here in Japan. It was a big hit among metal fans here in Japan as well. The band's Japan tour in January of this year was their first live performance under the name "Majestica," and was a memorable event not only for Japanese fans but also for the band. Includes bilingual lyrics. Japanese commentary enclosed.
