The Magic Band included percussionist Ed Marimba from the Mothers of Invention, in addition to Zoot Horn Rollo (guitar) and Rocket Morton (bass), who had played with the band in the past. Together with drummer John French, who has been with the band since the beginning, they have succeeded in creating a more complex and bizarre rhythm and band ensemble than ever before.
