This is the memorable debut album by the genius songwriter who supported the golden age of American pop music. The Ronettes' "Be My Baby," The Crystals' "Da Doo Ron Ron," and other American pop treasures are often referred to as "Wall of Sound" albums produced by Phil Spector. However, the establishment and success of that sound would not have been possible without the contributions of Jeff Barry & Ellie Greenwich, the songwriting team behind these works. This is the first solo album by one of these artists, Ellie Greenwich, released in 1968 to launch her career not only as a songwriter but also as a performer, with the partial participation of top-notch producers and arrangers such as Bob Crewe and Jimmy Wiesner. As the album title suggests, however, she herself took on the triple roles of songwriting, producing, and vocals, demonstrating the comprehensive production capabilities of a female artist, which was rare in the music industry at that time. In addition, this reissue includes a bonus track, a single song from the night before the release of this album, which gives a deeper sense of how she expressed her new start in her career.
