A classic soft rock album by the famous songwriter duo under Spector! Peter Anders and Vinny Poncia, the famous songwriting duo under Phil Spector, who also released albums under the name of groups such as Tradewinds and Innocence that are loved by pop music fans, released this album in 1969 as a duo, produced by Richard Perry. The album was produced by Richard Perry and recorded by members of the Wrecking Crew, including Joe Osborne, Larry Nextel, and Hal Blaine. All but one of the songs on the album are original compositions by Anders & Poncia, and the only cover song, M-7 "Smokey Joe's Cafe," features Ry Cooder on slide guitar. The album succeeds in adding an earthy charm to a superb pop album. Bonus tracks include two additional singles not included on the album. Includes obi commentary. Commentary: Hirokazu Yakame
