The first solo album by Jack Bruce, the most important bassist in rock history! This is a reissue of Jack Bruce's first solo album "Songs For A Tailor" released in 1969. This album was very well received when it was released, reaching #6 in the UK and #55 in the US, and is one of the most acclaimed albums of his solo career. Until the year before the release of this album, he was the bassist of Cream, one of the most influential rock groups in the history of rock music, and a great figure in the subsequent rock scene. He was born on May 14, 1943, but unfortunately died on October 25, 2014, at the age of 71. It goes without saying that Jack Bruce is still respected by many musicians. With only 10 original songs, the recording time is a bit short for an album, and the flashy parts don't seem so flashy.It is easy to imagine, however, that even first-time listeners will find great fulfillment after hearing it for the first time, and the great response from those who heard it with great anticipation in 1969 is testimony to its reputation.
