This is the second album of the band, which opens with a famous song that has given birth to many covers and samplings. This is the second album by the Delfonics, a vocal group that should be called the pinnacle of Philadelphia soul, and was produced by Tom Bell & Stan Watson in 1969, the year after the release of their debut album "La La Means I Love You". It was produced by Tom Bell & Stan Watson, as was their previous album, in the same year. The opening number, "Ready Or Not Here I Come (Cant Hide From Love)," was later covered by the Jackson 5 and sampled by the Fugees, and has become widely known as one of the group's signature songs. The entire album flows wonderfully, with a good balance of covers such as "Let It Be Me," "Aint That Peculiar," "Going Out Of My Head," and "Scarborough Fair" and original songs by Tom Bell & William Hurt. The sound production is deepened to a sublime and rugged level, and the beautiful vocal work blends together like mad! Bonus tracks include additional singles not included on the album.
