The only work by the supreme soft rock band, Ace Day, has been reissued. Ron Dante, the man behind Arches, Cuff Links, and the man who led Barry Manilow to success. He produced and wrote all but one of the songs on this masterpiece, Ace Dee "On," which was released only once. The album is full of grains, including M-1, a chance encounter between Motown and soft rock, M-3, a masterpiece included in many compilations, M-5, a euphoric song, M-6, a lovely song, and M-9, a foretaste of the Arches. We heartily congratulate the reissue of this hidden gem of soft rock. As for the bonus tracks, four valuable and excellent songs (from 1965-68), including three under the name of Ron Dante and the variant C.G. Rose, have been selected from the singles.Especially M-13,14 are great songs with beautiful melodies. Includes obi commentary. Commentary: Shigo Marume
