Released in 1967, this is a masterpiece of British psychedelic pop that should have been mentioned in the same breath as Pink Floyd. Known as the predecessor to Fairfield Parlour, this is their elegant, top-tier British pop. From the heart-wrenching classic “Please Excuse My Face” to the fantastical “The Sky Children,” this masterpiece blends sparkling melodies with a delicate sense of melancholy.
