The Jordanaires

Description:

A collection of solo recordings by the Jordaneers from 1969 to 1972 is released in a domestic distribution version with a special Parallel Records obi attached! The legendary chorus group, the Jordaneers, further enhanced Elvis' enduring appeal and propelled him to stardom. They have demonstrated their talents on numerous stages and recordings with Elvis, but on this album, their own harmonies are brought to the forefront as solo works, and their depth is fully developed. Ten of the songs on this disc appear on the 1969 album "Monster Makers," which was released on the U.S. Stop label. The work features the familiar lineup of Gordon Stoker (first tenor), Neal Matthews Jr. (second tenor and lead), Hoyt Hawkins (baritone), and Ray Walker (bass). The Bee Gees' popular numbers, as well as country hits of the time, are featured on this album, and their chorus magic is sure to be enjoyed by all.
