This reissue should be greatly appreciated not only by longtime fans of Eartha, but also by listeners who came to know her name through her admirers Jazzmayer and Jay-Z. Her achievements as a singer, actor, voice actor, and dancer can be summed up in one word: immortal. Today, voice actors who sing, dance, and act are becoming commonplace, but one of the originators of this trend is undoubtedly Eartha Kitt.
