King of the Blues' B.B. King's first move to ABC Paramount! 'Mr. Blues'. It's not often that a title is so simple and yet so true to the essence of the work/artist." This is the first release by the "King of the Blues" B.B. King after his move to the major ABC Paramount label in 1963, and it was the first release that expanded the scope of B.B.'s activities and led him to travel the world as the self-proclaimed "Ambassador of the Blues". Almost half of the album consists of moody ballads, and it can be said that the label allowed B.B. to follow the successful path of Ray Charles. Two bonus tracks are added.
