Debut release featuring the U.S. number one song "Kind of a Drug"! This is the memorable first album (1967) by the Buckinghams, a Chicago pop-rock band heavily influenced by the Beatles and other British beat bands, and features "Kind of a Drug," which reached number one in the U.S., as well as a recording at Chicago's famed Chess Studios. The album also includes recordings at Chicago's prestigious Chess Studios. The horn-infused pop sound influenced later brass-rock bands such as Blood Sweat & Tears and Chicago. Two additional bonus tracks.
