Taichi Fukasawa's long-awaited first album opens with a work by Asado, followed by his treasured repertoire from "Pictures in Three Forests" to a new version of Tansman's "Cavatina"! And even F. Sor's "Second Fantasy," the pinnacle of the classical repertoire. A collection of masterpieces of guitar music of a new generation that approaches the subject with a sharp edge. He was introduced to classical guitar at the mandolin club of Shizuoka Higashi High School. After entering Kyoto Sangyo University, he took a seminar on ancient music taught by Professor Shigeo Takeuchi and studied music theory. He has studied under Anri Shibata, Keigo Fujii, Nobuyuki Masuda, and Shunsuke Matsuo. He has participated in workshops in Vienna (Austria) and Essen (Germany) to further his studies. Attended master classes with Roman Wiazowski, Gabriel Bianco, Ricardo Galen, Pablo Garibay, Marcin Dilla, and other famous guitarists. He won the first prize at the 41st Guitar Music Grand Prize, the third prize at the 24th Nagoya Guitar Competition (the highest Japanese prize), and the first prize at the 10th East End International Guitar Competition. He has been an outside instructor for the guitar clubs of Shizuoka High School and Kyoto Sangyo University, and has also focused on outreach work, such as organizing small concerts for the community.He has been continuously giving concerts with mandolinist Takumi Mamiya, popular composer and vocalist Kengo Ohama, and others, exploring a wide range of new possibilities for classical guitar players.
