Rush Hour and Delsin staff have launched a new label, "ForeverRecords," to shed new light on hidden gem albums from the early days of club music. The highly anticipated first release is a reissue of the debut album by the Dutch electronic unit Psychic Warriors of Gaia, whose work has been undergoing a resurgence in popularity in recent years. Psychic Warriors of Gaia (PWOG) hailed from Tilburg, a major city in the southern Netherlands. The group was active from the late 1980s through the mid-2010s, centered around four members: Robert Heinen (who later founded Exquisite Corps), , Rainier Brekermans, Rijnoud van den Broek, and Tim Freeman, and was active from the late 1980s through the mid-2010s. While they were respected within the industry in real time—having even handled remixes for Orbital and Mark Bloom—they were generally a cult group whose reputation has been steadily growing since the 2010s, largely due to the re-release of their singles alongside Exquisite Corps. This album, *OvBiospheresAndSacredGrooves*, is their first album released on the renowned Belgian EBM label KKRecords. Originally released in 1992, the album features tracks like the singles “Obsidian” and “The Challenge.” Each track is rooted in techno and industrial while incorporating diverse rhythms and timbres from world music. At times dubby, at times trance-like, and at others dark ambient, the group demonstrates its originality by moving freely across genre boundaries.
