Echo & The Bunnymen, a popular '80s British rock band, are back with a remastered reissue of their revival album, Evergreen. A live performance from Glastonbury Festival is included as an additional bonus track. Echo & The Bunnymen are a rock band from Liverpool, England that made their album debut in 1980. With the hit "Porcupine," they established themselves as a standard-bearer of neo-psychedelic music. The band disbanded in 1993 after the departure of vocalist Ian McCulloch, who had been a key figure in the band, and the accidental death of drummer Pete. The band later resumed activities in 1997 with Ian's return. This is the first album after the reunion, released in 1997 on London Records. The drummer is Michael Lee (Jimmy Page & Robert Plant - The Cult). The first single "Nothing Lasts Forever" features Liam Gallagher of Oasis on backing vocals. The album has a different flavor from the early days, with its unique shade, aesthetic mood, and psychedelic soundscape, and the added luster and depth of a veteran with a long career. Five live tracks from the Glastonbury festival are included as additional bonus tracks.
